Woodmont Student Ministry Mission Team Visits Medina Campus
Tell a Friend

Posted on 06/02/2011

The Woodmont Hills Student Ministry Mission Team from Nashville, Tennessee arrived on the Arms of Hope-Medina Campus on Wednesday, June 1.  Their group includes approximately 55 students and 10 chaperones for a total of 65 team members.

They will be here for 8 days working on our campus and ministering to our children and families.

This is our first visiting mission team of the summer and the Woodmont Hills students have become one of the most anticipated events each year on the Medina Campus.  Each day during their mission trip they will be compiling a video detail the tasks they are fulfilling while visiting our campus.  Please consider checking back each day for the next installment.  These videos are a terrific representation of the mission opportunities available to church groups at both Arms of Hope campuses.

Please share the wonderful work being done by this amazing group with others.

A couple of important facts about this group:

Only six of the students on the team are on their first mission trip to Arms of Hope.  This trip has become a “high priority” for the Woodmont Student group because of the relationships they have formed and the experiences they have had.  Some of the students on the team this year are even college students who insisted on coming back with their high school youth group.

Two of the Woodmont students missed their own high school graduation ceremonies to be at our Medina Campus, because they decided it was more important to be here with our seniors for their graduation ceremonies.  Simply stated, one student explained “they have become my family.”

Please pray for Arms of Hope and for the Woodmont Hills Student Ministry Mission Team this week.  God will be doing amazing things through these young people.
